Directions: From Cave Spring Corner, which is the intersection of Electric Road (Route 419) and Brambledon Ave. (Route 221,) go south on Brambledon approximately 1/2 mile to the stoplight at Colonial Ave. Turn left on Colonial Ave., then take an immediate right onto Merriman Rd. Turn right into the church parking lot. Enter the church through double glass doors; the Community Room is on your left.)

Do NOT park in the church's main parking lot off Brambleton Ave. This will put you on the opposite side of the church from the Community Room.

What:

A friendly, informal gathering of knitters to knit and chat about knitting, books, patterns, techniques. Just bring your knitting and a beverage. We take turns bringing refreshments.

When:

Usually the third Sunday of each month.

Time:

2 pm to 5 pm

Schedule of upcoming meetings:

August 15 - Special meeting at Barbara Thomas' house to present her daughter, Lisa, with the blanket we made in memory of Barbara
September 19
October 17
November 21
December 19 - Christmas Party at 1 pm. Bring a dish to share and a wrapped, knitting-related gift valued at $10 to $15
